At VJPIC Photography & Cinema, our approach is simple—capture, not construct. As experienced Houston Indian wedding photographers, we believe the most beautiful images come from genuine emotions, natural interactions, and meaningful moments.

We specialize in capturing the traditions, colors, and emotions of Indian & South Asian Wedding Photography, including Gujarati, Punjabi, Hindu, Sikh, Telugu, Tamil, Bengali, and multicultural celebrations. From Haldi, Mehndi, Garba, and Sangeet to the wedding ceremony and reception, we document each event naturally while respecting your traditions.

Our photography style combines candid wedding photography, timeless portraits, creative lighting, and authentic storytelling. Rather than constantly interrupting your celebration with forced poses, we allow moments to unfold naturally while making sure important family traditions and once-in-a-lifetime memories are beautifully preserved.

A Family Tradition

Photography has been part of the VJPIC family for generations. Our story began more than a century ago in India, where my great-grandfather established our family's first photography studio. What started as a profession soon became a passion and tradition passed from one generation to the next.

In 1975, that legacy continued with Chhaya Studio, carrying forward our family's dedication to documenting life's most meaningful moments. In 2002, my brother Chetan brought that tradition to Houston, Texas, opening his own photography studio and establishing our family's photographic roots in the United States.

Growing up surrounded by photography, I began assisting my family at weddings as a teenager. Those early experiences taught me that wedding photography is about much more than creating beautiful images—it's about preserving family, culture, traditions, relationships, and memories for future generations.

Today, through VJPIC Photography & Cinema, I am proud to continue that family legacy. With nearly 25 years of my own experience, we specialize in Indian and South Asian wedding photography and cinematography in Houston, documenting everything from intimate family traditions to vibrant multi-day wedding celebrations.
